Provided that they make satisfactory progress towards the PhD, all CMB students are guaranteed a competitive stipend and tuition remission for the duration of their graduate studies, but applying for outside funding opportunities is always encouraged. In addition to the funding opportunities listed below, we encourage you to also check for department-specific training grants or fellowships, and ask your faculty advisor for suggestions based on the type of research you are doing.
