42nd Steenbock Symposium: Opening Doors to Cryo-EM

The Department of Biochemistry invites researchers from UW–Madison and beyond to attend the 42nd Steenbock Symposium, “Opening Doors to Cryo-EM,” this June. The symposium will highlight groundbreaking developments in cryo-electron microscopy and related techniques and will bring experts from throughout structural biology to the UW–Madison campus on June 7 and June 8. The symposium will also feature the grand opening of two cryo-electron microscopy research centers on campus.
Meeting highlights include facilities tours, workshops, time with industry liaisons, and scientific talks and poster sessions. Researchers are invited to submit an abstract for a poster and/or flash talk by April 15. Symposium registration is free. Register to attend the in-person meeting by May 1. Virtual registration is open until June 1.
