Call for Badger Buddies Mentors – applications due 4/2
March 22 @ 8:00 am - April 1 @ 11:59 pm
Applications are open to be a Badger Buddy Mentor for our Biological Interactions Summer Research Program. The Biological Interactions (BI) Summer Research Program is a program that seeks to help diverse undergraduate students to explore biology through observation of phenotype and to investigate the influence of genotype, environment, and their interactions on phenotype. This year we will offer an online program with students engaged in remote research projects and participating in online activities and discussions about research and science careers, and science writing for both general and expert audiences. The Badger Buddies Mentorship Program supports our goal to help BI participants receive multiple mentorship opportunities and interactions with graduate students and postdocs at UW-Madison. Each BI participant will be paired with a Badger Buddy, a graduate student or postdoc mentor, who will meet virtually one-on-one with them throughout the program to discuss careers in science with a focus on preparing for and transitioning to graduate school. If you are interested in becoming a Badger Buddy mentor, please fill out our application by April 2nd.
