Celebrating Women in Science Event: Dr. Beronda Montgomery

Intended to spark conversations on current gender inequality in science and promoting gender representation.  Dr. Beronda Montgomery from Michigan State University, our guest speaker, will give a lecture about her perspectives and efforts to address the issue, followed with an additional panel session “Achieving Gender Equality and Promoting Women in Science” in the afternoon. *Even though it is an event to emphasize female’s role in the science, all genders are important and welcome to attend!*Beyond the sessions, we would like to invite you to either breakfast or lunch to interact with our speaker, the panelists, and your peer students.
