CMB Professional Development Seminar: Ryan Kessens

Speaker: Ryan Kessens, Scientist at AmebaGone, developing amoeba as treatments for bacterial infections in humans and crops. Dr. Kessens is the PI of a USDA-funded grant. He earned his PhD from CMB in 2018. He has experience with strain discovery, development of scalable production methods, market research, and grant writing. Pizza will be provided, and all grad students/post-docs/researchers interested in hearing about different career paths are welcome!
