Grad School Workshop: Crafting a 3-Minute Research Talk That Appeals to the Public

October 10, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Communicating your research to a non-specialist audience is an essential career skill, whether you’re preparing for job interviews, networking at a conference, or just trying to explain what you do with your time. If you’re interested in learning how to craft a concise, general explanation of your research or if you plan to participate in the 3MT® Three-Minute Thesis competition, this workshop is for you. Stick around after the event for dinner and more 3MT® prep from MGN and The Writing Center!
