“Applying Active Learning: Using Writing to Teach in Any Discipline”
Learn how to use writing to promote students’ active learning, while maximizing your own time! In addition to going in-depth on using writing to teach in your discipline, this course will also have a strong emphasis on writing assessment. Participants in the course use what they learn to design a final writing assignment for a current course they are teaching or one that hope to teach in the future. This is an ongoing course throughout the Spring semester.
