Outrider has an educational mission and seeks to raise awareness about Global Challenges such as Climate Change and Nuclear Weapons.  Prior to joining Outrider, Tara worked for the U.S. government in the National Security field for over a decade.  She spent time working on Anti-terrorism measures and WMD issues for the U.S. Navy, on Missile Defense and Space Policy in the Arms Control Bureau at the State Department, and on economic sanctions in the Office of Foreign Assets Control at the U.S. Treasury Department.
