Credentials: Fetal androgen production in the male fetus is vital for reproductive tract masculinization and external genitalia formation. Deficiency of fetal androgen could result in the disorder of masculinization. The most critical androgen in males is testosterone, which in the testis, is created by Leydig cells. My research focuses on the expression regulation of steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) in fetal Leydig cells during embryonic development.
