Zhouyuan (Joanne) Shen

Credentials: Cytoskeletons such as microtubules facilitate both morphological structure and subcellular trafficking of proteins, vesicles and organelles, which are essential to neuronal function. Focusing on microtubule-based motors kinesin, my research aims to understand the regulation mechanism of kinesin activity and effects of motor mutants on neuronal activity in fly Drosophila.
