Credentials: Staphylococcus Aureus is a leading cause of severe diseases such as infective endocarditis which affects cardiovascular integrity and tissue repair. My work aims to clarify the molecular mechanisms of S. Aureus superantigens on endothelial barrier function to understand the host-microbe interactions contributing to wound healing deficits and host cell pathobiology in this life threatening disease.
