Credentials: Our lab focuses on the neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative aspects of Down Syndrome (trisomy 21) using human induced pluripotent stem cells. I am interested in the pathophysiological role the additional copy of amyloid precursor protein (APP) plays in DS and how it contributes to the early onset and progression of Alzheimer's disease in DS patients.
