Credentials: Our lab studies stress response in bacteria at the molecular level – its mediation by alarmones like (p)ppGpp, as well as its effects on essential processes like replication, transcription, translation, and metabolism. I am specifically interested in whether and how the putative alarmone AppppA (Ap4A) mediates response to stresses in B. subtilis.
