The CMB Travel Award is available throughout the year, and students may apply at any time. This award will cover up to $500 in expenses.
Eligibility:
- Current CMB Students who present a poster or talk at a scientific conference or will travel to another lab to collaborate or learn new technique
- Students are eligible to receive the award every other year
The Travel Award application consists of a cover sheet, an abstract, and a statement from the student’s Thesis Advisor confirming travel plans and supporting the application. Once the application is submitted, the Travel Awards Committee will review the application within two weeks of receiving all application materials.

Research travel grants for $600-$1500 are also available through the Graduate School.
