RESEARCH DESCRIPTION:

My research program focuses on understanding epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of human sarcomas with
the goal of identifying and validating novel therapeutic targets to treat sarcomas, a disease with poor outcomes and
inadequate available treatment options. We seek to identify epigenetic drivers of cell state plasticity in different
sarcoma subtypes. My lab integrates cutting-edge techniques including single cell and spatial epigenetic and
transcriptional profiling to answer these questions. My goal is to readily translate these findings from my lab into
novel therapeutics for my patients.
