research description:

Major research accomplishments in my graduate studies included characterization of the Gli transcirption factors in regulating Hedgehog (Hh) signaling, identifying environmental Hh signaling inhibitors, and establishing a novel mouse model of cleft lip and palate. As a  postdoc, I applied cutting edge small animal imaging techniques for phenotypic characterization of mouse models of fetal alcohol syndrome and cleft lip and palate.
